ABOUT BRABSE

The Baton Rouge Alliance of Black School Educators (BRABSE), a chapter of the National Alliance of Black School Educators (NABSE), was established in January 2026. BRABSE is committed to enhancing educational outcomes for all students, with a focused dedication to supporting the needs and interests of the Black and Brown community. Through its network of educators and partners, BRABSE provides valuable professional development, resources, and intervention strategies aimed at strengthening the educational experiences of Black students and empowering educators within the Baton Rouge community. 

BRABSE’s mission is to empower Black and Brown students through education, mentorship, and career pathways, cultivating the next generation of diverse educators and leaders.
